
Loving Education At Home (LEAH) is sponsoring its NYC/Long Island area convention at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Centereach, NY on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, 16. Discount registrations must be in by April 18.
This year's convention will feature Andrew Pudewa from the Excellence in Writing Foundation that promotes writing skills for timescales. There will be a ladies tea and a talk by Deb Dufek, "With Unveiled Faces: Reflecting His Glory." There will be numerous smaller workshops focusing on children with special needs, homeschooling dads, college preparation, and much more.
The convention will showcase a two day Teen Track with Generation Joshua that will be interactive and teach how a bill becomes a law. There will also be a teen art exhibition. So, bring your teen's artwork so it can be entered. The winners will have their art exhibited at the LEAH upstate convention in Rochester in June.
There will also be two days of classes for children age 6 - 12. Seating for the classes is limited to 20, so register early.

For this years graduating seniors, there will be a commencement ceremony where diplomas will be presented. Family memberss of graduates are welcome to attend the graduation ceremony.
